Farm & Animal Data

All data you voluntarily provide related to your farm operations, including but not limited to:

• Farm Information: Farm name, location (address, state, country, coordinates), and managed species.
• Animal Information: Tag ID, species, breed, gender, category, dates (birth, purchase, mating, lactation), parentage (dam/sire), health history, milk records, and weight records.
• Financial Data: Records of income and expenses, including categories, amounts, and descriptions.
• Sales & Inventory Data: Customer information, sales records, and inventory details.
• Marketplace Data: Listings you create, purchase requests, and chats with other users.

AI Assistant Data

We collect and store your chat history with our AI assistant to improve its performance and provide you with a continuous experience.

Location Information

We may request access or permission to and track location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using the App, to provide location-based services like weather forecasts and farm location tagging.

Device and Usage Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the App, such as your device ID, model, browser type, and your activities within the App. This includes session information for security purposes.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

• Create and manage your account and farm profile.
• Provide core farm management functionalities (animal tracking, financial records, etc.).
• Power the AI assistant to answer your questions and perform tasks.
• Facilitate communication and transactions between users on the Marketplace.
• Display your farm on public leaderboards if you opt-in.
• Share public animal profiles via QR codes if you enable this feature.
• Send you notifications related to your farm activities (e.g., reminders, transaction approvals).
• Provide you with local weather forecasts and disease risk alerts.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the App.
• Respond to user inquiries and offer support through our contact system.
• Manage and update the app's legal documents.

3. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We do not share your information with third parties except in the situations described in this Privacy Policy:

• With Other Farm Members: Information related to a specific farm is accessible to all approved members of that farm (e.g., Farm Workers, Collaborative Managers).
• Marketplace and Public Features: If you create a marketplace listing, your seller name and location may be visible to other users. If you opt-in to public leaderboards or make an animal's profile public, certain farm and animal data will be visible to all users.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including data analysis, cloud hosting (Firebase), and AI model providers (Google).
• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law.

4. DATA SECURITY

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

5. DATA RETENTION

We will retain your personal information and farm data for as long as your account is active. Upon request for account deletion, we will take steps to delete your data from our active databases.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date of this Privacy Policy.
